Madeline + Tyler Wedding | October 13th
How They Met
The Couple // We met at Bowling Green State University in 2013 through mutual friends, when Maddie was starting her sophomore year and Tyler was in the process of applying for Toledo Fire. We didn't end up dating until 2014, and then we got engaged in the summer of 2017. Tyler proposed at his family's lake house in Port Clinton in front of all of their closest friends and family, and of course, she said yes!
The Couple // Our wedding was an absolute dream come true. Ever since The Stables opened, I knew I wanted to get married there. I (Madeline) grew up being very good family friends with The Wheeler Family, so it was even more special to me that I could get married there. Tyler grew up more of a country boy, and I, a horse girl... so it made sense to get married there. From the beginning, Brooke Lauber-Cobb (Bee for a Day) sat down and helped make our vision come to life. I truly don't believe the day would've gone as seamless had it not been for the Bees. They kept us on a schedule, and made the day absolutely stress free.
Our photographer, Jenna Knott, was my favorite investment. She not only became our photographer throughout our journey, but also a friend. Our venue wouldn't have looked even half as beautiful if it weren't for our florist Jenny Vanhoutte from GardenView Flowers. From the chandeliers to the wedding arch to our gorgeous centerpieces, everything was absolutely stunning. Our caterers, Beirut, prepared an absolutely delicious meal that everyone enjoyed. Great Lakes Rental provided the beautiful farmhouse tables. Mike with Decorative Sound was our DJ, and I don't think our dance floor was ever empty once the music started! Beauty By Billie Joe was the makeup artist and all of my ladies agreed we felt absolutely beautiful because of her. Cristah Anteau was in charge of hair, and I would highly recommend her to any future bride! Meredith Party Rentals supplied the beautiful silverware, glasses, table clothes. Between So Sweet Bakery making our absolutely delicious cake and MacQueen Apple Orchard with the donuts, we barely had any desert leftover. My mom, aunt and I collected antique plates during the year leading up to the wedding so I think that added a unique vibe and made our place settings look even more beautiful.
