Tighe + Chris Wedding | May 27th

How They Met

The Couple // After breaking up once back in college due to distance, Chris and Tighe rekindled their relationship in Columbus, Ohio where they dated again for about 5 years. Knowing this relationship was made to last, Tighe made the move with Chris to Michigan after his acceptance into medical school.
Chris had been planning the proposal for awhile now, but with his first semester of school being very demanding and allowing for very little quality time to spend together, Chris planned a trip to Toronto for the two to get away.
Chris proposed in the city at a romantic, private dinner. Tighe was speechless and didn't see it coming! The city of Toronto will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Their Wedding

The Couple // We wanted a romantic feel to the day, yet fun and relaxing for the guests. Given the time of year and Memorial Holiday, we chose to have our reception outside on the country club's terrace, overlooking the golf course. The blooming flowers and warm weather paired perfectly with our Spring wedding.
Gerri and Courtney were wonderful on our wedding day. They arrived promptly to the hotel where we both were getting ready to snap some "getting ready" pictures. They were very organized and easy to work with. They knew when to take charge and keep the post-ceremony pictures moving according to schedule, but also were able to blend in with the crowd and capture some timeless moments. Gerri touched base with us at the end of the night to make sure there weren't additional pictures we wanted before she left. We have many pictures throughout our home that capture our day beautifully!
